The season is over!

A long season is finished today! After three competitions in Planica/SLO of the frequent interruptions were coined, got the last victory of the season 2008/2009 to Harri Olli!The victory of the overall World Cup, and the ski flying assessment will go to the Austrians Gregor Schlierenzauer! The best team of the season were again the Austrians!Harri Olli is the best Finish jumper of the season in the Overall World Cup ranking of 4, and in the ski flight evaluation at Rank 2!!!There ends an exciting and long season, and the ski jumper go in holidays now and restart training in early May!

Veli-Matti wins in Lahti

	With two very good jumps reached vellu last weekend at an excellent first place in the Finnish Veikkaus Tour in Lahti! With these super-ranking now he start at the World Cup jumping in zakopane!In these competitions, he can now get his first world cup points!

Victory for Simon Ammann and the Finnish Team

On Saturday evening was the individual jumps in Kuusamo with a victory for the Swiss Simon Ammann finished!This sat in front of the two Austrians, Wolfgang Loitzl and Gregor Schlierenzauer through. The victory went to the boys from Finland, by an excellent jump of 140m by Matti Hautamäki.About Rank 1 are happy also Matti Hautamäki, Harri Olli, Kalle Keituri and Ville Larinto. Behind the Finns landed the Team from Austria and a happy German Team.

Not a good start for Vellu in the new winter...

For the Finnish Team ended the Qualification in Kuusamo/Finland, with a victory by Matti Hautamäki, very good. To the rest of the Team is well placed. Everything else as a good beginning, it was for Veli-Matti, with the Rank:50.,he not starting to the competition on Saturday.But sure in the next competition he jump better!:)

Today begins the new season 2008/2009

Today for everything Ski jumping fans is a great day, because begins the new season, with the qualification in the Finnish Kuusamo!
For the Finnish team will go to the Start:
Matti Hautamaeki, Harri Olli, Arttu Lappi, Kalle Keituri, Sami Niemi, Ville Larinto and in the national group jump:
Veli-Matti Lindstroem^^, Jussi Hautamaeki, Tami Kiuru, Kai Koveljeff, Mika Kauhanen and
Olli Pekkala! We hope it's a good Sart for Veli-Matti into the new season!

Finnish championships

	On Saturday, 15.11.2008 took place in Rovaniemi, Finnish championships instead. On the normal hill was the best Finn wanted! At the end it was a clear result. Ville Larinto continued against Matti Hautamäki and by Harri Olli, he is back in the finnisch team and jump to the first competition in Kuusamo. Veli-Matti completed a good second jump and landed on 12th.
